VIDEO: Romany Malco To Star In ABC’s Kevin Hart Comedy

ABC’s Kevin Hart comedy has found its leading man. Weeds alum Romany Malco has been tapped to star in the semi-autobiographical comedy based on Hart’s life and stand-up act, lifting the cast contingency on the pilot, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The multicamera comedy takes a candid look at the postdivorce life of a couple trying to forge a friendship for the sake of their kids, despite their differences. Malco will star as Derek, the fit, energetic and impulsive exercise salesman who is recently divorced from his wife, Lorraine, but must still deal with her
as they share custody of their kids.
